Global sensation Jackson Wang's Magic Man tour has taken the world by storm, captivating fans with his engaging performances and energetic stage presence since the tour started in 2022.
Jackson Wang's Rise to Stardom
Since his debut in the industry in 2014 with the group Got7 under JYP Entertainment, Jackson proved his versatility and talent in singing, rapping, dancing, and showmanship. In 2019, he released his first solo album titled "Mirrors", which made it on the Billboard 200, reaching number 32. Fast forward to 2022, and Jackson's second solo album "Magic Man" rose even higher, reaching number 15.
With the release of his new album, he announced his first solo tour for Magic Man. The tour was split up into four acts: "Fame", "Isolation", "Redemption", and "Acceptance". The setlist would feature popular songs from his albums, including: "Blow", "LMLY", and "Slow".
The Visual Laser Spectacle: Laser Space
Each segment would comment on fame and its repercussions, and how he struggled juggling fame in his 20s. Through the use of lighting fixtures, video screens, and pyro, the set would guide the audience through the emotional four acts.
As the tour made its way to Macau, China, fans were in for an extraordinary treat. Jackson Wang brought on LaserSpace to provide the visually stunning laser spectacle that elevated the concert experience. Since 2009, Laser Space has been providing laser application services including rentals, installations, programming, and operation. They have worked with a variety of venues, including theme parks, live-action performances, and landmarks.
The Laser Technology
For this show, they provided their fleet of nine Elite 30 PRO FB4 laser units and BEYOND Ultimate software, to create an awe-inspiring visual experience for the Magic Man show in Macau. Throughout the show, the Elite lasers unleashed vibrant beams of light, intricate patterns, and beautiful color combinations, all in sync with the music and other fixtures. From the high-energy dance numbers to the emotional ballads, each song was intensified by the visual display.
